Yes... Yes I Am

This is going to be a semi-lazy post.  For my school I have to write two "benchmarks" each semester.  This is going to be one that I just finished today.  Hope you enjoy it.  =^)

When I Found Out I Was a Super Hero

Hi, my name is Audrey Ditto.  When I was 13 years old, I wasn’t expecting much from life.  School was starting getting harder.  I didn’t get to hang out with my friends as much as I used to.  Things were getting a little boring.  However, this all changed one afternoon.  My brothers had been trying to scare me all day, popping out of corners sneaking up behind me.  I was getting pretty annoyed with them.  Then, I heard something behind me.  Instead of turning around, I just calmly kept walking; suddenly I could see my little brother Matthew though.  I could see myself as well.  Matthew was slowly creeping up behind me, except he was in the air, but still moving slowly.  I realized that not only did I see Matthew, but I saw myself as well.  There was a ringing in my ears, it felt like my eyes had left my head and were floating somewhere above me in the air.  Everything was in slow motion.  This had taken only a few seconds, suddenly my eyes were looking back where they should be.  I turned around and caught my brother.  He was surprised, and so was I.  That’s when I realized I had been given a gift; a gift to be the coolest person ever.
It’s been three years since then.  I have saved the world dozens of times.  I call myself The Third (as in third person, maybe too much English class), and I wear a mask.  Some people call me a hero others call me a heroine.  I tried to keep people from knowing the truth about me, it didn’t last long.  However, only one person knows my secret, my best friend Katrina.  I saved her from an explosion at her school but my mask came off during the blast, luckily, the only person to see me out of the whole school was her.  I eat healthy, and exercise daily, so that I will be able to keep those I love safe.  Over the years I have dug out a basement under my room.  This basement has a tunnel that leads to my twenty-one speed bike, I don’t have my drivers license yet, so it will do for now.  I can sense people in trouble now, so I am able to go and help them.  I have come close to death often, fortunately, Katrina is learning to become a doctor someday so I just pretend I am spending the night at her house when I’m hurt really bad.  I’m a Junior in high school and I have a lot of school to do.  I have no arch foe, however I have many people who don’t like me, whether they are good law abiding citizens or criminals.
I don’t have much time for fun.  However, when people are in trouble and I have the chance to help, what should stop me?  I have learned that I am not the most important person, the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, or even the bravest.  I am a person who was given an ability to help others, whether they seem important or not.  There is so much that I can do, and there are many people who need my help.  I’ve learned to be forgiving to people who don’t understand me.  I also realized I may never be thanked for the things I’ve done.  Sometimes I do the wrong things, and I make mistakes.  Nevertheless, I have a job to do.

Pictures I Love

I'm going to post some pictures.  But... These aren't just any pictures, these will be pictures that make me laugh or smile.  I hope you will too.

She is one of the cutest girls ever.  Lil Baby Dot.

This is Madame Constance, or Connie, my sisters puppy.

On our annual Fourth of July Bike Parade, Eleanor thought she would join us.  And yes she is another of the cutest girls in the world.

This one is actually a sad picture.  It's of my families favorite camping spots, Cherry Lake, but the Rim Fire has gotten to it.  We've been going to Cherry Lake for about 24 years now.

This one is less sad.  My older brother Ben is now a working man, meaning when he comes home he usually sleeps till dinner.

It was one really good sandwich, made by my wonderful mother.

I think this will be my last picture.  I apologize, when I'm on my iPod it's hard to tell how long my posts are.  With that out of the way, this is Callen.  He is one of the most adorable boys in the whole world.

I hope you all have a wonderful day today.  And whatever else I should say at the end of a blog.  =^)

Hopefulnessness... =^)

Hello everyone.  It has been awhile but I have come back for another school year.
I have a confession to make, I usually write these posts just for school.  I hope that will change.  I will probably still keep my posts to only two a week, but I hope to keep them a little more fun an upbeat, little more personal, I'll still have some fake crazy stories sometimes.
I feel especially positive right now because I am sitting by myself in Starbucks writing this on my iPod.  The chair is nice and comfortable and nobody is here for me to pay attention to except you.  And a book but I'll wait to look at that till later.
I have just had a not so bad, not so good shoe shopping with my mom.  Mostly because everything shoe related for me involves pain.  Every time I look for something for my 10 Wide feet I have to remind myself that some people have it worse than me.  I have a bad habit of complaining, so if I have any posts just full of me complaining, feel free to comment.  Feel free to comment anyways.
Since I'm on my iPod its kind of hard to post pictures and put them in the place that I want I'll just post 1 picture.  Another thing that I want to do more is post pictures.  A picture is worth a thousand words, hopefully that counts for English too.
Yes, they fixed it.  This is exciting, more pictures to come... Hopefully.

"Sleep in a Heap"

So I was unsure what to write about this week, but finally decided (while writing this sentence) that I would talk about rooms. Hopefully this blog will not be as boring as it sounded right there. Here goes...
My parents were blessed with 10 beautiful children (the 6th being especially wonderful) and they made sure they brought up correctly. We lived in a large enough house by the seventh child but it wasn't permanent we were just living there temporarily till our pastor and his wife had a five year vacation in Texas. I don't remember really anything about this place when I lived there, but since that our pastor still lives there we get to visit often. A year after my sister was born we got news our pastor was coming home, so we found a house in the country and that is where we have lived for the past 13 years. So we move into this 3 bedroom house with 2 boys and 5 girls. The girls got the master bedroom with two bunk beds. Which left me and my little sister to share a bed. Almost every night we would have a kicking war. Two years later my little brother was born, he stays in my parents room and everything's pretty good. Then my dad has this wonderful idea of building a cottage for my sister, and I was not being sarcastic on the 'wonderful' part either. So they get this new fancy cottage and I have my own bed. This gives us an extra bed available, by this time I have a second little brother who is old enough to be out of my parents room and into the play pen in the boys room, this kicks are other brother into the girls room (poor guy). And of course the inly memory I have of his living in that room is when he was sick with the flu and I slept under him... Luckily I only worried about the smell. We have another two bunk beds put into the boys room so my oldest little brother is out of the girls room and into the boys. Then it gets even better. My mother has her 10th baby, fifth boy, and in honor of him she wants to move into the master bedroom, so we switch. We get a friend of ours old bunk bed with three beds instead of one, he smallest baby with my parents and the four boys together.
So far I have given you a hopefully not to difficult puzzle. My dad gets this camper for a friend of ours, but by the time we get it she doesn't need it so that became one of my sisters room, we took the third bed in the middle out witch made it a normal (except for height) bunk bed. So once we had two girls in there my dad made another cottage for my oldest brother, he lived in it for a summer than went to college so my second to the oldest moved into there. Then my oldest sister moved into a house in town with some girls from our church. My second to the oldest sister stayed in that room by herself for awhile. My two older little brothers were to young to take care of the youngest boy so he went into our room. He was probably 4 and he had a very annoying habit of waking you up at 4:30 in the morning crying because his blankets came off.... Luckily we got rid if him quick to the other boys. My younger sister moved into the cottage with my second to the oldest sister and they had a very cute clean room. That left me alone to pretty much make a mess of everything.
Then my two older sisters move out into my parents rental house so were left with 2 girls and 4 boys, that's how it is today, but not without more switching up, you see my brother goes to college 4 hours away so it was always confusing finding a place for him in the summer. This last summer I was living in the second cottage, the two older boys who were home lived in one room in the house the younger next door and my parents across the house. Then we got wood flooring my mom wanted a new office room so she sent one boy into the tin can (also known as the camper), one boy into my cottage I moved in with my sister in the older cottage, which left an empty room for my mom, which turned into my school room. And now we are up to day in the whole rooms thing. I quit on the girls after they moved out, two if them are now married, so I didn't see the point, this was long enough.
This may be a whole lot of nothing to you, and I would probably understand that. But for me right now, it's a load of memories, some good some not so good. And I enjoyed writing it out. Okay, I will now proceed to give you our names in age order to help with your puzzle: Jessica, James, Kirsten, Rachel, Ben, Me, Susanna, Joshua, Matthew, and Brian.

Random Pics

I'm no sure how this is going to work. So I'm using some pictures and telling little stories about them, but I'm on my iPod so I don't understand how I'm going to move the pictures. Whatever...
The cow picture I took during a hike with some friends. Wed gone around fifty miles that day (that might be an exaggeration) and we pass by some cows. This one cow is staring at us, all I wanted was to get on it and ride into the sunset, sadly we passed him by... *sigh*
The second picture is of a kid in our church. He just came over from Ethiopia last year, so he still thinks I'm crazy. But were still becoming friends. He is actually wearing the heart of camp hat I won when I was at camp this last new years.
This is Mads, she has that big smile because she just him me in our semi-friendly game of slug bug. The ice cream was of my doing. Strangely enough I was able to persuade my mother that we worked hard enough at our math class to get ice cream. It was fun.
So this is in Monterey, we were sitting eating are smashed PB and J, and looking at this view. We were also scaring as many evil little pigeons we could, we'd let them get I. Real close then almost kick them. Hehe... *nervous laughter*
This last picture is of horses, but not just any horses, they are excuse horses. I had been taking my morning jog and they were pretty much my excuse to take a break and take a picture.
Thats all, I'm gonna go to bed now.

More pets.

So I'm not going to just talk about dogs this week, we are now going to talk about other animals. We've had a lot of cats over the years, sadly all the cool ones would get into cars and run away at the next stop, or be given away. So the first to cats were given to me. I called one Sara , she was nice, and one Elizabeth, she was evil, Sara ran away. Some other cats met Elizabeth and in a few years we had almost 20 cats, now we have one cat. He's okay.
We've also had many goldfish, one lasted around 5 years. We also had a couple of those other fish with the flowy ( I have no idea how to write that) fins... and... stuff. We used to have rabbits, but our neighbors dogs got to those. We have chickens and ducks. Plus two goats and a sheep.
So my dad has always wanted to be a cowboy so at one point we had 2 horses. It was pretty awesome, sadly they died too. One was Cherokee the other Bill... yeah, they were cool. Well I think that's all for pets. Aren't you glad that wasn't as long as the whole dogs thing, yeah, I don't think I rabbit trailed so much on this one.

PETS!

We have had many pets in our family over the years. For about 12 years we have been living on a 25 acre property, perfect for dogs and cats. Seeing as how I have been talking all about myself in most of these blog posts I have decided to make it easier and keep on doing the same thing. (Apologies to any misspellings I'm writing this from my iPod.)
I'm now going to talk about the dogs of our family. The first dog I remember us having was a shaggy big black dog. His name was Charlie and he was amazing. He was a bit racist I will admit, he only allowed black dogs willingly onto our property. But he was great. He was really nice to us kids (I guess after ten kids he got used to us) and he always scared away the big mean doggies. Charlie also didn't mind our cats which was great ( we had about 15 at the time, they lived in the barn). Sadly Charlie died at 13 on thanksgiving day... depressing right...
A year or two before Charlie died we got two little puppies, girls the brown one we called Princess, the black Buttercup, we liked the Princess Bride. They were great, Princess died at a fairly young age, but Buttercup died (my siblings will probably correct me if I'm wrong) a year ago. She could still hop the fence, but you can't live forever. This dog timeline is getting a little crazy.
About 6 or 7 years ago we got a beautiful but crazy dog from a friend of ours named... Uh oh, I'm pretty sure her name was Mandy, this is bad. I guess I didn't care for my dogs enough to remember their names... depressing yet again. She died 3 to 4 years ago.
Then we got this dog from a friend of ours, we named her Daisy. Now, this us also around the time that Rocky showed up. He decided he liked Daisy, the food we gave him, but he didn't like collars, my Dad knows that for a fact... We soon had puppies, my mom is not much of a dog liver so we got rid of all of them except one. Today the puppy, Buddy by name, lives in our backyard, after his mother killed our goat we thought it was time... dramatic pause... Rocky is still here too, apparently after 3 or so years of a dog living at your house it is legally yours.
That was way longer than I thought it would be and I didn't go over everything. I pretty much just told you the acquiring of the dogs and the death of the dogs... whatevs. There are only two more dogs to talk about, one is my second to the youngest brother who for a while, maybe till he was 5, pretended to be a dog. And now my youngest brother does the same thing. He's 7 and sometimes he'll snuggle up to you and whine like a dog (yes, he is the baby of the family). So that is all I have to say about dogs for now.

My Talents

I feel slightly guilty doing this.  What "this" is is stealing, yes I am a thief.  I have stolen one of my friends ideas for a post.  But since I'm now the voice of the Salamandar Utopia Navy, and Mercurians, I am immune from all punishments.  (Is that the correct spelling of immune?)  So I shall now be making a list of my 10 mostly bad and some good talents.

     1.  Speaking Whale

     2.  I'm a Pro Procrastinator

     3.  Drawing ugly cartoons  (may be useful for annoying siblings)

     4.  Highly imaginative (helps with procrastinating)

     5.  Very good movie watcher, can usually watch a movie silently

     6.  I play the Piano, violin, and sing

     7.  I cry without fail when a movie is even the slightest bit sad (I cry every time during The Lion King)

     8.  I can pinch with my toes

     9.  I can easily lose myself in a book

     10.  If you try to have any kind of conversation with me don't expect much, I'm not to good at those.

Now you know even more about me, maybe more than you wanted but "it's better this way", (a quote from many things but I cannot think of a single one).  Usually it's not better that way though, goodness.  So, if you need me for any one of these talents, forget it I have my hands full with aliens and such stuff.

Finding Nemo

O.K, today my family and some friends had a little field trip to the Monteray Bay Aquarium.  I had planned for a few days to use this as my blog prompt.  But as I took pictures of these awesome little (and big) fish I realized that I was naming most of these fish by their Finding Nemo names.  So are some pictures of the characters from Finding Nemo

This is Bruce as a child, since I was using an iPod for a camera none of these pictures are going to be really good.

This is Bloat, he was always one of my favorite characters in Finding Nemo.

Anchor here is one of Bruce's buddies, they are part of the Fish Are Friends not Food club.

Gill was always pretty cool too, sadly my gill does not have a scar on his side, but this is what I could get.
"Ooooooohhhh, lets name the zones, the zones, the zones, lets name the zones of the open seas."  At least I think that's how it goes.  Yes it is, Mr. Ray, he's pretty cool, sadly this picture is terrible, and doesn't give this sting ray justice.
We found Nemo (that never gets old), I thought of putting the same picture up twice for Nemo and Marlin, but decided not to, so here you go.  He's waving at me!!!!

This is Shelodon, sadly Sheldon is H(underscore)2O intolerant, so he's probably having a rough time right now.
Okay now this one is a little harder to do, because I can't really remember his name exactly.  I think it's Mr. Johanson, but it's not in any character lists, that I could find online.  But everybody remembers him because I was cool.  "Kids! get out of Mr. Johanson's yard now." Father Seahorse (forgot his name too) "Hey, where'd you go, where'd you go." Mr. Johanson.

This little guy here is also one of my favorites, his name is Jacques, and he makes everything, shiny and clean.  He's pretty cool.

Here is a nice school of fish who are helpful enough to give Dory some directions, Marlin they don't like so much.

I like a lot of these characters it turns out, I guess after seeing it a bazillion times with your younger brothers, you learn to appreciate these characters more.  I always thought Crush was cool and Squirt was cute, but I also have always loved turtles in general.  Now this turtle at the aquarium didn't like me so much and never got very close to the glass, hence this terrible picture.
Peach, I always liked Peach, but now I'm super confused.  Peach always sounded like a guy to me, but it turns he or she is voiced by a woman.  This will forever change Finding Nemo for me.
Last but not least to of my favoritest characters, Dory and Bubbles.  I love them both, they are awesome, Bubbles for being absolutely crazy, and Dory for her forgetfulness, love it.

So there you go, those are the characters that I saw in the aquarium that are actually in the movie Finding Nemo.

Childhood Memories

I will be writing some of my favorite childhood memories with you, I don't have that great of memories, so you guys will have to bear with me...

...It was a regular afternoon, I was probably 8 or 9 years old.  I had my most bestest friend over Maddie, and we were playing Barbies.  Barbies were one of my favorite toys, and I had this one barbie that I really liked.  It was my barbie, and Maddie had the nerve to play with it.  I so graciously invited her to MY house to play with MY toys, and how does she repay me, oh the pain.  So I, with good reason, ask for it back, but my older sister says that Maddie is the guest and I should let her play with it.  Maddie seems to be fine with robbing me of my toy, and it was just rude.  So I told Maddie I wouldn't be her friend for ten days.  That showed her, she just sat there, probably wondering when I would get a grip on myself.  So I locked myself in the bathroom, don't remember much of that day.  But that doesn't matter too much.  Luckily the next day was Sunday, so I went to church saw my most bestest friend Maddie and hugged her super hard forgetting completely that we weren't supposed to be friends.  And still to this day she is one of my most bestest wonderfulest friends I have.

Alright I know I at first said memories but I thought I'd give you my childhood in small doses, just so your not overwhelmed.  Adios.
I'm not sure how to start this post... that works.  Have you ever felt like you can't think of anything to write on your Blog post.  Well not to worry.  I am going to be thinking and writing 10 ideas for all your blogs so that you don't.  So here goes.

   1.  Give a list of your usual grocery list

  2.  10 reasons why you can't clean your room at the moment.

  3.  You find yourself suddenly in _____ (Narnia, Wonderland, The Starship Enterprise, or any other fiction  and or magical place.)What happened.

  4.  You suddenly receive 1 million dollars, how did you receive it, how will you spend it.

  5.  Your favorite food and why.

  6.  You spend the day with Phineas and Ferb, what do you do that day.

  7.  You go without one of your 5 senses, describe your expeirince.

  8.  The cat in the hat visits your house.

  9.  You find yourself in your favorite fairytale, but everything is going wrong.

  10.  What your normal day looks like.

So there you go, have fun.
